It has been said that our planet does not have the natural resources to support more than one first world country (feel free to confirm this?). With that in mind, we have seen a growing trend to outsource remedial tasks to the cheap labor of these countries, but it won't last forever.

1.) The Chinese and Indian economies have been growing at an unprecedented rate for the last decade. What do you believe to be the key issues as the quality of living increases in China and India and the labor gap between these countries and the Western World closes?

2.) What do you think should be America and Western Europe's response to the increasing environmental and Human Rights concerns that China is facing today? What steps can we take today to help facilitate the progress of Environmental Standards in the East?

3.) China's growth over the past centuries has cause it to engulf a number of smaller countries, including Tibet and Taiwan. Do you believe that these countries have a claim to their independence or are they entitled lands to the Middle Kingdom?

  • I think that would be up to the people in those regions. I also don't think that China has the right to decide for them. Chadlupkes 01:54, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

4.) Do you feel that China has learned from the mistakes of the Soviet Union and is moving in the right direction with a Capitalist Economy and a Communist Social policy? What problems do you see ahead?
